This is advertised as a 5 star property, however it is closer to a 2 star. While the reception and dining areas are nice, the rooms are outdated, old decor and in need of general maintenance. To communicate with staff in English you definitely need to use google translate. The property asked for a 1000 baht deposit without explanation and also took payment before the end of the stay. Breakfast choice was ok, however food that should have been hot was generally cold. There was no safe in the room and tea/coffee wasnt replinished.

Expedia and the bay beach website both have totally incorrect information about this hotel. There are no safes in the rooms (huge issue for me) There is no turndown service The complimentary mini bar is not resupplied daily (it is never resupplied) Internet issues I wasn’t offered a welcome drink

The rooms have a deep tub and a wall mounted hand held shower head. There are no shower curtains so water gets everywhere in the bathroom no matter how careful you are with the hand held head. In room safe not bolted down in first room I stayed and second room safe couldn’t be programmed

The bed was very hard and they had no other options. The lack of a shower curtain left water all over the bathroom. The in room safe wasn’t secured to the wall so it could be carried away so basically it was useless.

The property sells itself as a 5 star hotel. In reality, it's more of a good hotel for someone on a tour rather than a stay of over a couple of days. The swimming pool has 8 wooden un padded loungers and a couple of tables, thats it!. The hotel advertised room safes, we were told sorry most rooms don't have safes but they did have free to use safe boxes behind the reception. Friends were given a room with a safe, but it wasn't bolted down. The hotel advertised usb and cable free phone charger, neither exised. The refilled free mini bar was a can of coke and can of sprite, 1 bag of peanuts and 1 crisps, 2 water bottles and tea and coffee, the only things replenished was water and coffee. Breakfast was reasonable, apart from the hot food wasn't kept warm in the serving dishes, apart from the 1 day a VIP chinese tour arrived. The balcony was so small you couldn't even turn around comfortably. The hotel is heavily used by Chinese tour groups and is very busy with them 24 hours a day, with a lot of coach noise associated with that.

Bra vid stranden i Jomtien

Snyggt och prydligt, god renlighet. Rummen fungerade bra, inga större anmärkningar. Sängen var lite väl hård, men inte obekväm. Frukosten var helt OK, med en hel del varma rätter. Frukt, juice och kaffe. Inte så stor variation från dag till dag. Restaurangen fungerade väldigt dåligt på kvällen med dålig service och långsam leverans (en tillfällighet?). Läge nära stranden och fiskmarknaden, med en hel del restauranger i närheten.

Nous avons séjourné en mars 2025 dans cet hôtel pendant 10 jours, chambre deluxe vue mer pas insonorisée, balcon juste pour un étendoir, très bruyant car il y a un hôtel juste à côté avec musique très forte jusqu’à tard dans la nuit, réveillé tous les matins à 4h par les bateaux des pêcheurs qui sont juste en face de l’hôtel. Pas belle plage. Le petit déjeuner est convenable mais les plats sont froids la plus part du temps, dommage. Night market, The Big Market est très bien, bonne nourriture avec de bons prix, il se trouve à 500m à gauche en sortant de l’hôtel. Hôtel vendu comme un 5* mais pour notre part qui avons fait beaucoup d’hôtels en Thaïlande, on dira que c’est un 3*.

Cet hôtel semble recevoir beaucoup de bus de touristes chinois chaque jour mais ils arrivent tard le soir et partent tôt le matin et prennent leur petit-déjeuner dans un restaurant qui leur est réservée, donc il n'y a aucun désagrément pour les autres hôtes principalement thaïlandais par ailleurs.

Five stars on everything and everyone from front desk to house cleaning, to restaurant and its personnel. Only downside was the concierge - he lacked basic info he should have known. Wasn’t a miscommunication problem, my GF is Thai. Also, we were there right after the Corona Virus hit, so almost no Chinese. A local Thai told us typically many Chinese stay there. Given the large number of Chinese typically in Thailand, I don’t know if that is out of the norm. With so many scrubby Western backpackers and old beer bellies in Jomtien, maybe the westerners hit the cheap places.
