The rooms are a bit older looking but are in ok condition. A good, not expensive hotel right in the centre of town. Breakfast is ok too. Not great but not bad at all either. All in all a good cheap hotel. I’d go back.

The hotel definitely shows it age. With that said, I always get the one bedroom suite with a kitchen, shower and tub. The breakfast is very good and the staff is extremely helpful! LK Metro has everything you would want as a traveler... night life, shopping from thrift market to gold...top rated restaurants and local food stands that are fantastic. The hotel is in the heart of everything. This has become my go to hotel... been going here for 7-8 years now. The staff recognizes me as a frequent quest and meets my expectations!

I choose the Metropole because it is close to where I want to be; car parking is easy; the rooms are always clean and well presented; I can regulate the shower water to the right heat and it doesn’t drop off like some other establishments; the bed is good to sleep in and the pillows are good; the staff are all pleasant and helpful; there’s good choice for breakfast and the check-in/checkout processes are smooth and speedy.

The rooms are a bit dated, but everything is functional and well-maintained. What really makes the stay enjoyable is the excellent staff—friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist with anything you need.
