We stayed in Vivanta to attend a local wedding. Cannot fault the hotel and the staff. They were extremely hospitable, catered to all our needs at odd hours, were of great help when my son got sick in the middle of the night, gave me late check out on request. Chaitanya was very helpful, thanks.

This is the best hotels to live in when you come to Pune. The 5 star facilities the hotel offers are amazingly polished but apart from the facilities our trip was made special because of the amazing staff. Starting from the front desk we felt a very positive welcoming from Chaitanya, Kapil, Akshada Anamika. Every time we pass by they have a smile on their face and eagerness to help us in the minuteness of our problems or concerns. Our family has some special food considerations because of allergies and the staff member at the restaurant were more than willing to create special menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner by chef Kalyan and manager Amit g. All in all the experience was made very special and this is our home when visiting Pune.

Being a Taj Hotels property Vivanta Hindgewadi left much to be longed for. This hotel fell behind on presentation and quality. Service was hit and miss at the buffet breakfast. When I gave this feedback in person the response was "this is a business hotel" - which it may be, but that shouldn't define the quality of services at the hotel. As usual in India, front desk staff and the porters were excellent and went above and beyond to be helpful. I would recommend that the hotel invests more in staff and quality (like, put in new carpets as the current ones are cheap) to make this a proper carrier of the name Taj.

It was a pleasure to be at Vivanta Pune. Outside the property, there is nothing much to be told about. With a never-ending metro construction, the property faces in the front a lifeless mall and loud musical mashup restaurant. Inside, everything is as per expectation, except the always outstretched Buzz breakfast with so many gaps in service. Vandaag is very good, but Buzz is too hot to handle, only for spice lovers.

The property as i understand from the concierge service is part of a larger property that consists of a mall Xion and a super market DMART. As such Uber does not recognize it and comes to the wrong location. One has to call the uber driver to tell him to enter the hotel entrance which is not easily visible. Even the name of the Hotel is displayed behind bushes.

Is Vivanta Pune part of Taj group?

I have stayed in Vivanta Delhi and Mumbai, the stay in Vivanta Pune is no comparison. The state of the Hotel is below average to be called a 5 star Hotel. The car sent for Airport pickup was a joke. I had called twice to the Hotel service to send a big car since we had two large trolleys and they confirmed this would be taken care, but once I reach Pune Airport, there was a small car where we had to struggle to fit two trolleys and was very bad ride to the Hotel and no resolution was offered.

Good location, amazing staff

The hotel is well located in Phase 1 but is easy to miss the entrance because there are no signs beforehand. I would suggest having a small sign befote the entry so people don't miss the gate. Apart from this the service was great, the security, reception, restaurant and housekeeping staff are all very kind and helpful. The room was good but just feel the screen size is not proportional to the room size (very small and difficult to see from the bed) I want to give a special shoutout to Pranav from Asian Harbour and Dev from Vandaag since both of them are really nice and make the guest experience super. Pranav was very attentive and Dev was really honest with his recommendation and showed genuine care. Chaitanya and Anishka from the front office were also amazing and made the check in and out a very smooth and happy process. They also offered me a coffee/tea and packed breakfast because i could not have time for breakfast. That was very kind of them. You have great staff, and I will surely recommend this property to others as well.

Great hotel, not so much personal privacy

Great hotel, but it was a bit creepy around personal privacy. They need to understand western boundaries and not interrupt you when do-not-disturb is on. My friend believed they're trying to make sure that nobody is being intimate in the rooms.

Excellent stay with great warmth and hospitality

The entire stay was truly nice. Mr. Das and his entire team was very professional in all aspects of hospitality. Some people were worth mentioning by their names - Mr. Waigankar & his staff especially Mr. Pawankumar, Ms. Rayni, the housekeeping guys Mr. Vshal and Mr. Vivek were great. Ms. Khatri and her team also took good care of us from the front desk. It was overall quite a pleasant experience.

The staff r excellent Arunava, Karan, Shanti n the rest at the reception were excellent. I hope I got their names right. The staff at the restaurant Buzz were just extraordinary, special shout out to Surajit and Santosh n their whole team who ensured that every meal we had at Buzz was spectacular. The service is efficient and courteous, they kept checking on us and ensured we had everything we needed. The staff deserves a round of applause as they ensured customers with infants did get to eat a peaceful meal as the staff themselves took care of infant, kudos to them. The staff at the pool did a great job. If u r in Pune n u want to relax Vivanta is an ideal option! We will definitely be going back.
