"This historic property lived up to and beyond every expectation. Most will be unable to garner a stay at the Boarding House, and in my opinion, this does quite nicely and is very comparable. We had the King room on 4th floor with sofa bed. We didnt use the bed in the sofa but it was a very comfortable sofa for sitting, and the room was very nicely appointed with Frontier decor, and was ever so comfortable. Our room was on the pointed end of the hotel and the kitchen looked out over the town, the right side overlooked the Mercantile and the left the little cottages and the courthouse maybe up on the hilltop.. There was a kitchen nicely decorated with larger than normal hotel fridge. I think my husband counted 16 windows, and the curtains are floor to ceiling which makes it very eye appealing. Comfortable bed and nice walk in closet space as well as decent bath accommodation with walk in shower. We could not be happier with the surroundings here..we went for a stroll into the downstairs area, all beautifully decorated in era appropriate items..the foyer is amazing with its marble staircase and beautiful stained glass light fixtures. Would stay here again and again. Really an unexpected option smack in the middle of town. You wont be disappointed. We were quite happy with our choice. "

"We had a great time staying here while visiting Pawhuska! Bruce is an excellent communicator, the house was well stocked with basics and some extras. Each bedroom had a sink, which was a nice surprise. The master has a great walk-in shower, which was perfect for my mother-in-law. The tub in the shared bathroom was nice and deep, perfect for bubble baths for the kiddos. Both yards were well maintained and great for playing yard games. Close enough to be a nice walk to Main Street. Would definitely recommend this house and Bruce!!"
