WELCOME TO CARIBBEAN GEM! Experience this beautiful 3 Bdrm, 3 Bath detached home in a quiet cul-de-sac located in the famous Holders Hill section of St James. Only a few steps away from the beautiful and famous Payne's Bay Beach where you will find pristine white sand and turquoise blue water. You are also within walking distance to Ice cream shops, a Bajan fish market (think daily caught Lobster, Crab. Marlin and Mahi-Mahi), and some of the finest restaurants Barbados has to offer.

The space
Caribbean Gem possesses 3 full bedrooms and 2 1/2 Bathrooms and can comfortably sleep 6 people. The master bedroom has a large KING SIZE BED and the other 2 bedrooms each have queen size beds. All bedrooms are very well appointed. There is a large eat-in kitchen with all amenities connected to a separate living room with new a 55" smart TV with FULL CABLE and HIGH SPEED INTERNET. The living room leads out directly onto the private back patio with your own gas BBQ and your own private plunge pool. There is also a private rooftop patio to enjoy a relaxing evening under the gorgeous Caribbean night sky.

Spacious clean home with new everything. Plunge pool was clean and nice. Only down side is walking to beach on Holders Hill Rd because cars speed around corners and there is very little clearance to walk. Fine for adults though.

My overall stay was excellent, house conditions were great all amenities functional which was great, also the host was very welcoming, nice and she was always available and ready to help whenever i reach out thats a big plus for me.

Great value , modern and clean villa.

This villa offers great value for a family or group stay. Clean, secure and modern. It's a 10 minute walk to a beach, and while there are some local bars nearby, it's just a short drive to Holetown or Fits village where there and lots of places to eat and supermarkets. The pool is a plunge pool, with no sun loungers around it, but Paynes beach is close if you want to swim and where you can rent loungers for the day. The villa is clean well maintained, has good aircon in the bedrooms and has a modern kitchen.

Caribbean Gem - Payne's Beach - A Fantastic Holiday!!

This property was exactly as listed; we spent two weeks there so we made full use of the facility, especially the kitchen, which is well stocked with all the utensils you would need. We were a group of 5 adults and found it roomy and comfortable It is conveniently located near the beach and bus stops allowing us access to pretty much anywhere we wished to go. We certainly felt safe in this neighbourhood and the neighbours were friendly and helpful . We spent lots of time in the pool which was clean and refreshing. There was lots of hot water to shower in and at the end of the day we were happy to go to our air conditioned bedrooms for a good nights sleep. If we had to reach out to our Hostess she was quick to answer our questions and make sure we were completely comfortable, she provided wonderful service. We all would recommend this place as a great home base for anyone wanted to visit and explore Barbados.

Really perfect spot for west coast and paynes bay

Really lovely house in a very Bajan neighbourhood. Very local but very quiet and peaceful. The host was excellent and went above and beyond to make our trip as easy as possible. The larger of the bedrooms is upstairs but there are two doubles downstairs aswell which suited my elderly parents. Handy to have the tiger market shop just round corner that's open till later and a nice local bar called the breadfruit tree bar which is cheap and has good food. Great pool and use of beach chairs. Kitchen well equipped and lovely patio area. Thanks so much again for our stay 🤗

Nice yellow house on the hill

We really enjoyed the our stay. House was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of space for my husband, myself and our 3 adult children. The pool was nice in the evening. There was no air in the main part of the house but a nice breeze kept it comfortable. Bedroom air conditioners worked great. Kitchen was well equipped although the freezer couldn’t keep up with our ice needs. Additional trays would be helpful. There are several restaurants within walking distance and a gas station with a minimart. We were able to take a very quick bus trip to the grocery. We walked to Payne Beach daily from our unit. The walk is not long but does require cutting through a field and uneven hillside path at the end of a street. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Most homes were well maintained or being renovated. Property Manager was very responsive. Some directions on getting to the beach and nearby businesses and operating instructions for the television would be helpful. Overall great place for a family vacation!
