Seashells is a three-story beachfront villa on the west coast of Barbados' Paynes Bay, offering seclusion and island charm. This property embraces outdoor living, and it features a spacious covered verandah and an open-air deck, seamlessly blending Caribbean Sea views with lush tropical gardens.

The entrance leads to an open-plan living and dining area, as well as a kitchen. French doors open onto the patios, creating an indoor-outdoor flow. The coral stone walls exude tropical charm, and the patio features seating areas, a dining table, an open-air deck, and a private plunge pool. A BBQ gazebo awaits al fresco dining. A private gateway leads to the soft sands of the bay.

The decor is Caribbean chic, with warm colours and local art. The living area boasts a TV, and modern amenities.

The bedrooms are reached via a curved stairwell. Two guest bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed and the other with twin beds, are on the first floor. Both feature walk-in closets and spacious en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom on the third floor includes a four-poster king bed, a seating area, and an office nook. A double balcony offers ocean views.

Perfect property

Having stayed in hotel accommodation on previous visits to Barbados this property worked perfectly for a family of 4 adults and 2 excited grandchildren. Clean, safe for the children and of a high standard, the house opens up on to the beach. The perfect family vacation property.

Glad we were here for the coconut harvesting and the rainbow sun. Lovely house, great location and Althea was a great constant during our stay. Carlos was on hand with sunburn cures too!

We have had an amazing 10 day stay here at Seashells. We have stayed at quite a few homes in the Caribbean and this one is the top notch! The beach is great and the water, perfect. It is close enough to the stores and supermarkets to be like "home." Everyone has been so friendly and helpful. We hope to be visiting again.

What a wonderful vacation !! The house is beautiful & perfectly situated !! We loved watching the sunsets each night. The half day catamaran cruise with snorkeling & lunch was a perfect way to see the beautiful waters of Barbados! The Mt Gay Rum tour did not disappoint. Pam & Althea did an outstanding job with the house + meals and were wonderful to work with with. Barbados will always have a special spot in our hearts !!

We have had a lovely relaxing week at Seashells - it is a beautiful, in a lovely location. We've enjoyed the sunset, sea views, snorkeling just outside and seeing amazing fish. We also liked the fish market, just next door! The villa has everything you would need! There is also a lot of great food at your door (we loved the Roti den & the ice cream place). Thank you very much Althea for making everything so comfortable and clean for us and Carlos for the coconut water!

WOW! What a wonderful trip this has been! Barbados is beautiful + the people are so friendly. We met people from all over and enjoyed the awesome water and beaches. Our family really enjoyed our stay at Sea Shells over spring break. Julie was a the best hostess we've had anywhere! Anytime we had questions about activities, restaurants, taxis or anything else about the island she had an answer. Ms. Althea made sure the place was spotless every day when we would return from our daily adventures. The beach is literally in your backyard! We enjoyed our daily evening walks along the beach allowing us to see some of the other resorts. Would definitely stay here again!

We have had a lovely time in such a beautiful house. After our lovely daughters arrived the house did not miss a beat. It became a family home. The children loved the plunge pool. Perfect for confidence building for a 4 year old. Althea is so friendly and accommodating, helping to create and maintain a lovely relaxed approach to life in Seashells. Must mention David too, keeping us safe in his discreet way. Also Carlos the gardener who supplied us with aloe vera.

Paradise Found

We loved our stay at Seashells and would recommend the Villa to anyone that wants beautiful beach view that look like a postcard. The Villa is within walking distance of various restaurants, fish markets, and water activities and a good hub if you are driving around the island. Snorkeling was great and we were able to see a variety of fish and stingrays just off the beach behind the villa. The staff was very kind and helpful and willing to answer any questions we had about the island. It was not hard feel at home in this Villa. The Villa was clean, well maintained and looked just as it does in the pictures. If given the opportunity, I would stay in this Villa again.

Fantastic villa and excellent location. We will miss our morning wake up swims and watching the sunsets on the beach with a glass of champagne. The best equipped rental we have experienced, and Althea has been so helpful and kept everything lovely and clean, with fresh towels and linen. Blue Sky organized some paddle boards for us, which really made our holiday. Being able to paddle over to the lovely beaches nearby The Cliff. Would recommend Tides, Lone Star, QP Bistro & Local & Co. Also, the pizza place across the road does a great gluten free pizza. You can get take away coffee & pastries from QP Bistro. Thank you also to Carlos, the gardener for helping me carry my paddle board up the steps! We will be back

Our first time at Seashell - a beautiful, magical villa with the best sea view in the world, all on an amazing island. We have enjoyed our 10 days in paradise, and this was made even more special with the lovely people who have looked after us. Carlos, the gardener, who kept us supplied with Aloe Vera to cool our sunburn and a happy smile. Josimar who cooked for us on two occasions. Not only a first class cook, but a wonderful young man. We wish him luck for his future. The security men who made us feel safe and secure, but most of all, Althea, truly the best housekeeper around. She kept the villa immaculate but her cheery good morning and her willingness to help was always second to none. We will miss you Seashells, Barbados and your lovely people, but we'll be back!

Stunning villa in a great location

Clean, spacious, and with perfect views. It is quite noisy, being next to the main coast road and a busy fish market, but that is to be expected at any property in this area. Cannot fault anything about the property or the lovely housekeeper. We will be back as soon as possible.
