"2 usesble bathrooms, not 4. Clean but lacking any comfort. One, twoseater sofa for 11 people, no other seating except dining chairs. The cupboards are full of someones effects, this lets the property down. The grounds were lovely but overgrown, balcony views obscured by plant growth, disappointing. The ground was wet all the time because grass was uncut. No hot tub, no spa. No sunbeds. Garden furniture very basic. No WiFi. We paid extra for sheets snd towels but these were very poor; dirty...

"Lovely house with everything that you need. Position makes it have fabulous views. The pool was great, heated, clean and good sunbeds. Walk to the castle through the bottom of the garden. A couple of restaurants in the village plus a patisserie. Short ride to La Roque-Gageac with lots of restaurants and a little further to Sarlat-la-Canéda which is great. Would recommend this house and hope to return."

"We found the house excellent, in great new condition, very clean and tidy with everything we needed, great location, lovely town, nice options for eating out and some small local grocery shops with everything you need, great location to explore the Dordogne valley and surrounding area."

"This beautiful home was as described. The owner was so very helpful as was the onsite manager. The living quarters were well appointed and very comfortable. The grounds were relaxing and well maintained. This is a 10 out of 10 and we will visit again. "

"We booked this property as a girl holiday getaway for my 40th birthday celebrations. Overall we had a nice stay and found the location great to be able to visit some really stunning towns and villages nearby including Dome, Rocamadour and also had the opportunity to do cannoing in the Dordogne river as it’s such a great spot for it. In terms of the house itself, it had the main things we wanted but I wish the outside area by the pool would have had more greenery or at least a bit of grass....

It was very easy to get to, a short 10 minute drive from the town with incredible views. The hot tub was freshly cleaned, which was very important to us. The owners have very strict rules, which we deeply appreciate as we look for attention to detail, quiet locations, kind neighbors, and a home away from home experience. "The Villa is even better than the photographs and written description in all major respects . We had a problem with the WiFi dropping out on the last Wednesday of our stay . The bill had not been paid . It was not fixed by the time of our departure . Poor service . Two cupboards in the kitchen at head level are an HS&E hazard . Sharp corners . The two double beds upstairs have mattresses resting on wooden trestles . This is noisy and the beds are adequate rather than comfortable. The double...

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel,the staff were very friendly especially Eric who was in charge of the breakfast which was very good, it’s in a great location and is in walking distance of shopping areas and some very good restaurants which were recommended by the hotel, there’s a very atmospheric square where we enjoyed a drink after dinner and listened to some live music "

"Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the IBIS Sarlat. The staff went out of their way to make you feel really welcome and were incredibly helpful making suggestions on places to visit to make your stay memorable. When there was a problem with the TV, in the room, the staff did their utmost to repair it. When they realised they would have to call someone in, to solve the problem, they immediately arranged a move to a much larger room and helped transfer clothing/other possessions. They were like breath of fresh air and are a credit to the hotel chain. The room was also exceptionally clean which was a real treat to see. If only other hotels were like this. The other great thing is the hotel is located directly opposite from one of the better restaurants, in the town, and is only a 10 min stroll to the medieval town centre which is beautiful to walk around. "
