"I arrived and the owner wasn’t expecting me even though I had booked earlier that day through Expedia. The room was fine, hard mattress but I like that. A bit outdated and hard worn sheets but I slept really well. I asked about dinner and the owner said yes 7:30. "Our night at the Chateau had to be the single most memorable night of our trip. I loved it; my other half was a bit freaked by it all. The property is a long way from anywhere down a stone road.
