"We visited St Helaire as a first family car trip to France. The travel days were a little stressful but ran so smoothly thanks to French roads being so much easier to drive along than British roads. The apartment was perfect, the views stunning especially at sunset. The sea breeze was cool and refreshing.we don't mind walking but thought that we were a little too far from things to want to walk everywhere. This is the only thing we could find that wasn't perfect and does not mean you can't walk...

"We were pleasantly surprised, and very much appreciated our stay here. The apartment is new, modern, very well-equipped, and efficiently organized. The location is pretty central -- 2 minutes from the beach (and restaurant on the beach) and 10 minutes from the town market. The bus stops are also 2 minutes away. Strongly recommended."

"We chose this apartment based on the great reviews and we’re very happy we did. It was bright clean and in a new building right opposite the beach. The apartment was quiet with no street noise despite being in the centre of La Baule. The reserved garage under the building was large enough for our estate car and we left it there most of the time and explored on foot. Vincent was really helpful and flexible. He recommended local restaurants and was available by text if needed. Cécilia was lovely...

"The apartment was warm, cosy and well equipped and located close to the river in a quiet village a few kilometres from the city of Angers. The cycling path alongside the river where on a cold, bright winter's morning we saw very little other than a solitary heron from time to time provides an idyllic route into Angers. "Location, location, location! Very old part of the city and some areas around are not in good shape! The apartment does not have internet but is otherwise well equipped. The view of the Loire out the front windows is lovely. Nice to watch the boats go by. If elderly with lots of luggage, this apartment is not for you! Very old narrow winding staircase to the apartment on the top floor! The proprietor is lovely and very helpful!!!"
