Castles in Pays de la Loire

"Excellent boutique hotel right in the city center. You are steps away from the Town Square, tons of restaurants, shopping. It's all within a few blocks walk. The bed was comfortable, the shower was amazing rooms are a bit small, but they are well appointed so you don't feel very cramped. I stayed for 7 days. I enjoyed the Continental breakfast that they offered and enjoyed their Hammam/sauna almost every night. I would definitely go back. The reception staff were outstanding!! A special. thank you to Patrick for all of his assistance. There was also a young lady in the evening but didn't get her name. I traveled with my cat and he especially enjoyed the large window! "

"First off, the staff are exceptionally kind and friendly. They give you great ideas and offer solutions and tips (e.g. where to park for free and where to park to avoid thefts). It’s a happening area. Great restaurants attract people and it’s a hub for transportation so it’s always alive with activity but not the bad kind. We found it wonderful to get off the train and walk “home” in a few metres. Especially since our train was delayed due to an incident on the track. We walked from Hotel Suzane to the tourist office, got city passes, walked the blue line, saw great castles (by car) and went to the incredible David d’Angers museum. Got water and a few snacks at the nearby convenience store. Got great coffee at Hotel Suzanne’s cafe. Had amazing desserts and sandwiches at the Boulangerie downstairs (next door) and an evening meal at Bouillon. Great food. Great people. Our bathroom was small but the hotel was extremely generous with towels and it was clean and comfortable. We would stay there again. "

"We had a great stay at Seven Urban Suites. The 1 bedroom apartment waa spacious for our family of four. Great having the small kitchen to make snacks and lunch etc. Very close to bus and two stops into the city. Staff friendly and helpful. Clean and modern reception, rooms slightly dated but clean. Could do with drawers or something in the room, maybe in a wardrobe so there was a place for clothes, only hanging space. Overall we had a great time and would absolutely stay again. Great value for money "
