Confused
The mountain meadows cabin was great. But we were lead to believe we were booking a cabin at kohls ranch
I have never camped by myself before and I took my pup and it was all I could ever have hoped for. Flora responded daily when I texted her every day even tho I was prob annoying. I hiked and bbq’d and got with nature and had the best time ever. I will never forget this trip. Thank you Flora for this amazing experience

That place was incredible peaceful quiet, beautiful
The cabin is located in a beautiful area away from the main roads. It's equipped with the necessities to have a cozy meal like we did, using the gas grill for our steaks It was comfortable for the two of us and our dog. I would recommend!
Cabin was very cozy wish i would have brang my dog. Lots of hiking trails near by . Cabin has everything you need inside like dishes soaps etc. Nice gas fireplace inside. Propane and charcoal bbqs outside . Horse shoes and gas firepit outside aswell . Definitely will be coming back
These cozy cabins are so lovely!!! My boyfriend and I enjoyed our peaceful stay here so much. The land and location were exactly the getaway we needed. Our hosts were such nice people and very responsive to our questions and needs. We plan on making this lovely place our regular getaway spot, so grateful to have found this little gem.
The place was perfect for our romantic getaway! Pictures don’t do Justice to the beauty surrounding the cabin. Quiet and cozy with a fire and a drink in the cool nights, was a great reset.
A wonderful place to get away from the noise and go relax and take a moment to take in the wonderful beauty life gives us and remember our blessings.

Woods Canyon Cabin
The cabin was a nice cabin but did not expect a blow up mattress on a queen box spring. Not comfortable at all. The pillows were like pancakes. The coffee pot was full of scale inside. Making contact with the host was difficult due to there was sporadic phone coverage. The host claimed she does not receive phone calls in a timely fashion so messaging is preferred. We did manage to get in the cabin with a code provided. For 300.00 I am sure there are other options we will try in a few weeks. We love Woods Canyon.
The Property is very quiet and the cabins are nice. We did have a hiccup with our tv working when it wanted to. But overall it was a great stay and we loved being so close to all the trails.

Act of God
On Sunday morning while waking up to our morning routine we have no water or power. We go outside and all the guest were standing outside asking each if they were having the same problems. Everyone was concerned cause most have used the restroom and couldn't flush the toilets. We are unable to shower or cook breakfast. One Guest said they spoke with Diane and Ken . DIANE was on her way to Phoenix with her grandsons. So she referred him to Ken who told him this was a Act of God and we would get no refund and still need to be out by 11:00 Am . Plus they were selling the place he would leave a note for the new owner to see if they will give us a discount on the next stay. So my spouse asked Ken what he could do he said he was suffering as well . The power was supposedly to come back on by noon we want to stay to shower.
The experience was lovely. It was so quiet up there. I could hear the wings of a raven as it flew by. The days were warm and sunny. The nights were perfectly chilly and the fire pit was amazing! There was so much chopped wood to burn, I barely put a dent in the pile (and I tried to burn it all). There are tons of hiking trails and things to do. The cabin was cozy, warm and perfect for my husband and me to cuddle and relax. The owners thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and safe. The cabins on the property were proper rustic cabins yet had all the conveniences to meet the needs of their guests. The property was set up professionaly with safety in mind and a priority placed on a positive guest experience. Will be back soon!
I personally would only add 2 things to each cabin and that is a fire pit and a small propane barbecue for more convenience otherwise we had a great deal for more convenience otherwise we had a good Time
The property is nicely tucked back off the road. We arrived at night, so it felt a little tricky at first as we were a little confused by instructions of horse stables, but we found the office. Luckily my partner had service. Verizon works here. AT & T not so much. The letter spoke to intermittent wifi. That is accurate but we weren't there to be on our devices.TV was available. Had we known the coffee maker we could have brought filters and coffee, but we made it work with instant we traveled with. The unit itself was very quaint, simple, clean. Little Fridge, microwave, some plates, cups, silverware, 4 cup coffee maker, sink and a double hot plate. Didn't see hairdryer. We are still wondering where on earth the jacuzzi if any is LOL. Nice firepit. Plenty of wood stacked. Common area clean, easy access to vehicle parking to your cabin. We really enjoyed the quiet of the evenings and bugling elk off in the distance. There appeared to be quite a few hikes and nearby sights if you desired. we were there for a wedding. We were able to bring our dog, cleaned up after him and there were little trash cans with lids available tween each cabin. Really enjoyed the 2 seated porch swing on the little porch and the rope lights. They added jsut enough light with out being too intrusive. The cabin had a gas fireplace which not only kept us warm but added to the atmosphere.
Hosts were very thorough and accurate with pictures. Reached out before we arrived to give us a detailed breakdown of the rules and all the amenities provided, plus detailed directions.
The cabins themselves were very beautiful and well kept. They were quiet, and a very short drive to countless hiking trails and multiple lakes straddling the Mogollon Rim itself. They offered a fire pit and grills for outdoor cooking, as well as a small stovetop and utensils for cooking indoors as well as a fridge. This enables you to relax almost completely outdoors if you choose, or spend time inside comfortable.
Really enjoyed our time and looking forward to coming back
