"Clean room and beds. Staff was helpful and even printed things for me, no charge. Fresh coffee 24/7. Breakfast was good but I only wish the eggs were more done or better quality. Buffet was great otherwise. Free parking!"

"Wonderful experience. Traveled to LA with wife to visit her family. When coming to LA staying in safe, clean, affordable location is always our priority. Doubletree checked all those boxes. Very pleased, would advise anyone in similar situation to look you (DoubleTree Monrovia) guys up."

"This is a very nice hotel for a basic stay. The room is comfortable and clean. It is nice to have the restaurant below although a bit pricey for what it is. Also nice to have the gym which is a decent gym for a hotel! The location is perfect for us. Our son just started college here and his apartment is close by and lots of restaurants in walking distance! It was a little noisy this past stay (last time was quieter but perhaps because we were on the top floor)."

"The staff was very friendly. Food, as limited as it was, was prepared well. Hot tub was not very warm in the pool was mediocre. I would guess it’s probably the last year or two of this being a courtyard and will need to be downgrade into something different"
