"Cypress Cottage was the best pet friendly property we have stayed at. Our little dog loved sunbathing on the deck and our 9 month old got his best sleep to date in the pack n play set up in the guest room. The property was not booked the night before our trip so the host reached out and let us know we could check in a couple of hours early which was huge with a baby who naps in the afternoon. Thank you for the best experience!"

Had some trouble accessing property upon arrival, perhaps because we were 30 minutes early or because our welcome email had the incorrect code. Instructions were a little unclear, you have to use the back door. Property management company answered promptly and we got an updated code very quickly. Minor feedback...

"We couldn't have been happier with our stay in Pacific Grove. Vivian is a great host, very accommodating and quick to answer any questions. The house was perfect for our needs. It has a well stocked kitchen, an area I could work remotely from, beautifully landscaped yard, and its in a great neighborhood just a few minutes drive to the beach. In addition to this, it was great being able to bring our dog with us for our stay. Would recommend this home for anyone looking to get away."

"To be honest, the pictures provided of the cottage dont do it enough justice. Palo Colorado Rd is initially intimidating but as long as you turn your lights on, take it slow and be cautious of other vehicles its a wonderful road to drive through. "The view alone is worth staying here. We had both back doors open any time we were there. The layout is perfect for enjoying the sound of the waves and the view of the sunset. "Very nice property very clean uncomfortable. Three adult couples were very comfortable there since we each had our own bathrooms. We all slept well on the comfortable beds. The bedroom nearest the kitchen and the garage was a bit chilly and we were not able to raise the heat. Also, in that bedroom there were some ants. Other than that, we had a lovely stay and I would recommend this space for three couples or a family of six."

"House is woefully in need of many minor repairs. Wall sockets in bedrooms need to be replaced. Most important issue is slippery bathtubs with no grab rails. One shower has see through window to outside. We had to hang a towel outside to block it. Another shower had no light, bulb needs replacing. House lighting system is puzzling…whenever anyone gets up at night the entire house lights up. Heating system is poorly designed with one bedroom getting all the heat. "The bed was comfy. The room was very clean. We walked in the bathroom and could smell bleach which is a good thing. Housekeeping was so nice. We asked for a fan and they found one for us. The location was convenient. Everything was walking distance or you could take the trolley for free to Fisherman's Wharf. The restaurant makes the best breakfast sandwich. The restaurant staff was attentive and nice. The restaurant was very clean. The only drawback was that we stayed in room 262. It faced the street. So on Saturday night it was so loud that we didn't get much sleep. Do not stay in a room that faces the street. The next day was quiet and we were well rested. All the staff was nice and helpful. From the valet to the bellman. "
