"The first thing to say is "WOW", what a great place to stay - the entire place was beautiful and was such a perfect stop on our trip to Sicilia. The room was so nice and comfortable we didn't want to leave. The food was incredible and the staff was just over the top awesome !!! We are very picky when we travel about cleanliness, value and customer service - we were so pleased that everything was even better than advertised - we will absolutely stay here again when we get the chance !!!! Bellisimo !! Bella !! Perfetto !!"

"A spacious hotel with extensive grounds and facilities. Being May and off peak it was not full and so had a relaxed vibe. It was easy to get seated in the restaurants and bar. Service good if slow and staff very friendly. We had a small issue as our booking wasnt transmitted properly from Expedia and so it was unclear to the hotel we had booked half board. A few suggestions for improvements would be that houskeeing were a bit random about changing towels/emptying bins etc. One day our shower mat disappeared and was not replaced until the next day Our minibar was totally empty until 2 days before we were leaving (not that we used it anyway) and there was no way to spread towels out to dry. The variety on the buffet for dinner was great but hot food was not really any more than warm. If there was a way to improve this and maybe heat the pkates that would help. The black rice and sushimi we had one night as part of the buffet were particularly good. Pizza restaurant was good and we also tried the a la carte restaurant which was lovely. Great parking tip for Catania from the front desk. Thank you. "

"We spent 3 weeks here in 2023 at the end of September through mid-October and had the best time.The yard and pool are worth everything! The house is well located if you want to hit the road, as we often did, but tricky to find initially (save Esso Costa Saracena in your GPS). Great sandwich shop just down the road and main grocery store 10 min away. Both the owner and the property managers were accessible on WhatsApp and always very helpful, but you'll need your translator app if you don't speak Italian. We miss Sicily and the house every day!"

"Room was missing details for a 4 star hotel. Did not have a coffee maker or kettle in the room. Had to ask reception to provide us with two normal glasses and a coffee cups. Smell of damp in the bathroom but other then that room was clean. Breakfast not enough staff to cater for restaurant size. Items take too long to be replace when finished . Indoor pool needs to be warmer as was cold ."

"Excellent facilities — pool, table tennis, gym. Rooms were comfortable, although not spacious. Very good breakfast, with incredible variety and quantity of items on the buffet — although some items did not seem to be freshly made every morning. Would have been nice to have had homemade jams, rather than the packaged kind. Overall, very good service (especially front desk welcome, with very useful briefing on the resort and tips for visiting sights in the areas). Breakfast service was marred by odd delays in getting our coffee. Please note that resort is about 20 minutes drive from Ortigia, partly through potholed and narrow country roads. It’s a peaceful setting, but not close to dining options. "
