We enjoyed our time at this cabin very much. So many extras included in our stay including use of the rowboats or canoes/kayaks and a sauna. The cabin had everything we needed to prepare basic meals and the water pressure was the best! We definitely look forward to coming back soon!
We were in the area to visit family and friends. The cabins were central to the area and allowed us to try something new. They are located in a very quite area with several cabins located adjacent. The weather was nice enough to have only the screens in the window to enjoy the weather. The host for the campground came to greet us when we arrived and made sure we knew about cabin and how to use items within the cabin. If you have the chance go and visit.
The cabin is clean and cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much. A beautiful start to October. We were greeted when we got there and enjoyed our brief history of the cabins. Otter Lake was really beautiful plenty of bald eagles even seen a grey herring land by us on the dock.
We had a wonderful stay in our little cabin. The time there was very relaxing! Only wish we had had more time to fish, all kinds of fish to catch!
Would definitely recommend, great time!
It was an excellent experience-thoroughly enjoyed location. Serene, quiet spot but not far from nearby towns. Proprietar made check in/check out very easy with great communication before and during stay. Place was as advertised. Would absolutely stay here again if in the area.

The cabin had everything we needed. It was very comfortable. It was in a beautiful wooded setting on a lake, with a boat available for our use. We enjoyed our stay very much!
I really enjoyed my time at the cabin. The cabin was clean and just the right size for one or two people. Being on the lake was a real treat. There are rowboats, canoes, kayaks, and stand up paddle boards available for guests to use for free during their stay. I really enjoyed kayaking up the Otter River and learning to standup paddle board in the lake. I’d definitely stay here again and have already recommended the cabins to my family.
Serene and beautiful! All you might need to bring along is a lamp to set at the table
Prices are affordable. The views are breathtaking. Cabin was clean and adequate for sleeping, cooking, good sized fridge. Christine is easy to reach and answers emails in a timely manner. We WILL be going back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at manninen cabins!!! We will be back for sure!!! The owner went above and beyond to make our stay and our wedding amazing!!!
A quiet scenic location adds to this property's charm. Our cabin was clean and adequately stocked with supplies. The fresh flowers and large chocolate bar were a nice touch. Christine was very helpful and always willing to make our anniversary stay a good one.
