Seitseman (#7) - Cabin on Otter Lake, Manninen's Cabins

  • 15 miles to Houghton/MTU

One of seven log cabins on Otter Lake in Michigan's western Upper Peninsula
Come relax and take in the quiet beauty of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Our seven log cabins overlook Otter Lake, a 900-acre sport fishing, paddling and boating paradise. Built by Finnish settlers in the 1930s, the cabins offer full kitchens and baths, cozy comforts and traditional Scandinavian décor.
Cabin #7 sleeps four and offers two bedrooms. One with a double bed, and the other with two twins.
    Features include:
    1) Open kitchen and dining area, two connected bedrooms and one bath with shower
    2) Wood frame construction with log trim
    3) Kitchen includes sink, refrigerator and oven
    4) Reserved parking next to cabin
The cabin also includes a 12-foot aluminum boat for your use. Canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards are also available. More than 300 feet of shoreline, two docks and acres to explore!
    House Rules:
-No children are permitted to take a boat out unless accompanied by an adult. The boat operator is responsible for any damage, accident or casualty.
-No cleaning of fish in the cabin. There is a fish cleaning table with water, lights and waste pails behind the cabins.
-Absolutely no burning of the fireplaces. They are not operable.
-Dogs are allowed, up to 2 pets per cabin. There are additional pet fees (see add-ons).
