"Good pillows and comfortable bed. I was impressed with the updated charging station including wireless. Room was very musty smelling and the fan was loud when we were trying to sleep. No one has cleaned the quarter round in the bathroom for a long time. Good shower. Carpet even felt slightly damp in the morning, so you know they are struggling with keeping moisture out of the room."

"This hotel is definitely dated and could use some updating. The beds were comfy, however the room hadn’t appeared to be vacuumed, nor was there extra toilet paper in the room and both rolls were very low when we arrived. Breakfast wasn’t anything fancy - but it was hot! The hours they were opened definitely varied from day to day. When I walked in, the front desk individuals were busy talking about their to-do tasks for a solid 10 minutes. They both saw me but instead of being quick to help get me checked in, they continued their conversation while stood there listening. Biggest downer was that the pool was closed for repairs which I wish was posted clearly on their website otherwise we would have booked elsewhere."

"The home was beautiful! It was super clean and accommodating. It was very cozy and the area is very peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Kathy was an excellent host! The communication with her was very good! The home had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer! We didn't get a chance to enjoy the sunroom or any of the outdoors. A very nice home that if ever returning to Iowa we would definitely stay here!"
