"The cottage was great but the check-in was very stressful. Owner did not send email with info until Saturday morning and it went to my Spam folder. No one was on site when I first got there but someone working in the garden got hold of the owner and let me in. Website says check-in was after 3PM but owner said it was 5PM. Needs to update that on website. After a10-hour drive I was not happy."

"This was the perfect size for us for a short stay. It had all the essentials, and it was clean and tidy. (We spend most of our time outside and away from our lodging when on vacation.) I discussed a couple of small concerns with the host, and he was very responsive. We would stay there again in the future."

Very poor communication from host. They didn't provide us with entry information until the morning of, and didn't answer our messages. "Not as advertised; teeny. The photos made it look spacious. The front yard was being raked and seeded for grass when we arrived so there were broken branches on our path. The deck, table and chairs had not been cleaned and we're dirty and covered with leaf litter. The room had no comfy chair, only a floor lamp with a bare bulb. No hooks for hanging anything and no coat hangers. We left to find another place to stay and have been promised a refund that has not come through. Very disappointed!"

"Great location for access to the surrounding areas. It was easy to get essentials, like grocery and pharmacy, but also easy to feel like you were away from the rest of the world. The home was very clean, comfortable and current with the needs of today. It even had a teapot, which made mom very happy! We hope to return in the future and enjoy more that the area has to offer."
