Nice maintained beautiful spot in remote Pemba

Rooms are stretched over a beautiful area close to the ocean and are spacey and well maintained. Options of two bars/restaurants with friendly staff; service in general very good - which is rare in Zanzibar. Food and drinks are good quality and many choices but also quiet expensive , similar to the 5-star hotels close by. Otherwise one of the best spots in Pemba!

My husband and I stayed at Pemba Paradise for 4 nights in January 2023. There aren't a lot of options on Pemba, and of course Aiyana and Manta are the premium (and very expensive) places to stay on the northern end. Having stayed at a great number of hotels in many parts of the world, for Pemba Island I consider Pemba Paradise upper middle level. PROS: The property is quite extensive and the pool is quite nice. The beach area is beautiful and provides ample opportunity to walk for a long while. The stand out is the staff, which are exquisitely attentive and pleasant. They are actively doing maintenance on the general property and also on individual rooms. The rooms (we had 1A on the end top floor facing the ocean) are spacious and cleaned nicely. CONS: The rooms are well cleaned but have not been maintained in the best manner. For example, the paint around the shower window and many other places demonstrates huge and significant runs that are simply not typical of better maintained properties. Bottom line: This is a good property at which I would stay again. If you want a supreme luxury experience, stay at Aiyana or Manta. If you are fine with a very good property that could use a bit of maintenance, then Pemba Paradise if your place.

This place is so close to a sandbar that seems like you are in Bora Bora. Pemba Paradise offers the tour and it was the highlight of our trip. Hands down the best water/island I’ve ever seen. Everybody said the same. The resort was better than expected and meet with genuinely nice people with big smiles. We booked an extra night and became friends with the awesome local owner. It’s fun, relaxing if any problems it will get handled fast.

Hôtel qui a du potentiel, mais un très mauvais management. Problème récurent du style pas de pression à la douche, châsse d'eau qui fonctionne mal, il faut tout demandé, le wifi, le ménage etc....ménage fait à vôtre demande et encore faut attendre 2h et s'inquiéter de récupérer la clé. Excellent restaurant, le cuisinier et vraiment très bon, petit problème, attendre jusqu'à 1h30 le repas alors qu'il y a deux couverts c'est compliqué. Hôtel loin du village a pieds.

Très reposant

Après une route très chaotique qui traverse la forêt presque noire , et un village nous voici a l'hôtel face a la mer . Personnel charmant , étant seul nous avions commander , poulpes , crevettes et même langouste pour 20 us par personne. Chambre faite un jour sur deux , wifi seulement au restaurant, piscine un peu verte dommage , mais jardin bien entretenu . Nous ne nous sommes pas baignés.
