"Close to Fundao and Covilha this location is perfect for those who like to be surrounded by nature yet close to town. The house is nice, yet rustic. As it mentions it’s off the grid, the house is heated by the fireplace, which is connected to a boiler system that also heats the towel rack and the 2 radiators in the bedrooms. Since we stayed in November that meant we to make a fire every night we came home from touring the area / visiting friends. It was a little more work than expected :). There...

Thank goodness for accurate GPS to get to the property and through the twists and turns of the VERY narrow roads in town & up the hillside! Ample parking outside the cottage. "Super séjour. La piscine est un vrai plus pour les enfants. Il y a de belles choses à visiter autour. La maison est très propre, bien équipée. La salle de bain privative pour 3 des 4 chambres est super. Le gérant immobilier est serviable et à l’écoute."

"We would have given this property a top rating (5/5) for the beautifully renovated convent buildings, nice room, beautiful bar and dining area in the former chapel, excellent fine dining etc. Our bedroom had a smoke detector above the bed, however, which blinked throughout the night and affected the quality of our sleep."
