"The location within a sanctuary is extraordinary BUT the 2 bar/ restaurants close about 6 and there’s only the hotel bar/restaurant. So if you want a bit of an evening out you must drive. Also, you can park very early or late but literally thousands of people come during the day so returning to the hotel with a car is impossible. We visited in August, so may be different other times of the year. Hotel is beautiful and the sanctuary with the Basilica and grotto very atmospheric- We wouldn’t stay there again."
Picos de Europa Suites and Rooms

"The Picos de Europa Suites and Rooms are a few minutes drive from Potes. Our suite was spacious and comfortable although the hot weather meant that we didn’t feel like using the whirlpool bath. We didn’t take the breakfast option but drove into Potes. Laura gave us a list of restaurant recommendations and the two which we used were very good. She also gave us ideas for places to go sightseeing and hiking. She and her colleague were very friendly and helpful. There is a nice garden to sit and enjoy the fantastic scenery."

"Wir haben uns in diesem schönen Ferienhaus sehr wohl- und willkommen gefühlt. Es gibt alles, was man braucht und Lucio ist ein sehr hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft, man kann direkt vom Haus aus sehr schöne Wanderungen machen und auch das Meer und die Picos sind gut erreichbar. Es ist auch ein Paradies für Tierfreunde, es gibt Hunde, Katzen, Schafe, Ziegen, Hühner, Kühe und Pferde im Dorf. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen."

"Very peaceful sanctuary with incredibly attentive and helpful staff. The evening dinner while expensive was absolutely amazing! For us it was “WOW” food and plentiful. Actually the two of us could have shared one meal and walked away full! We ate breakfast there all 3 days and don’t regret it. Very convenient and fresh, locally sourced food."
