"My goodness, what an amazing property! Although distant from most major hotspots, it is smack in the middle of nature, and far away from the traffic and noise of civilization. This unique property includes an old large wine making room with equipment, the entry to the breakfast and dinner rooms. Charming and outstanding."

"We had a lovely stay ant the location is as expected in a great little part of the national park. The place is as in the pictures and whilst we didnt use the pool it looks fab and the hot tub was ideal. The local restaurant was very welcoming and the nearby old bridge could hsve been a scene out of Brigadoon..... fantastic. There are the useual few quirkes with staying in older remote towns but it shouldn't put you off as presumably if you are looking at staying here you will appreciate that...

"Our family of seven (5 girls aged 7-13) have recently returned from this amazing house and pool. We had the best holiday ever! The house is beautifully decorated, lovely and clean, more than adequately equipped and was just a pleasure to spend time in. The owner (John) was wonderful - spoke brilliant English and told us some really interesting places to go and how to get easily into Porto.
