Great location on a narrow street inside the city walls, which made it a bit challenging to find. The room was large and very clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet, tucked in on a side road. Very convenient location to everything, including walking to University of Coimbra. Rooms were clean and modern, kind of bare bones, minimalism, but fine."

"When we arrived, the room we had was awful, bathroom tiles/ grout were dirty and moldy. Toilet and sink were ok. Overall a dingy room. My friend went to front desk to see if we could have another room, she was told not possible, hotel was booked. We figured it just 2 nights, we’ll bare it. Off we went to visit Coimbra. Upon our return (6 hours later) we noticed the AC was not working. Went to front desk, let them know we had an issue, a staff member came up to room to see what the issue was. She was very nice but unable to get it working. Eventually we were given another room, much better and bigger,1 king bed and single bed. However the bathroom tiles were awful as well. The water pressure is great and the towels are thick and absorbent."
