"The redeeming feature of this hotel is the staff. Everyone from check in, dining room, housekeeping and maintenance is top notice, friendly and helpful. But be warned if you have any physical limitations this place is not for you. There are steps up the side of a mountain, mostly uneven with no handrails. It’s lovely but difficult. The room was nice but bathroom tight and only warm water, not near hot. Dining room is at the very top of the hill and unless you have a car, only reachable after a long hike"

"El Sitio hotel is a great option to stay at playa venao. I went with my family (kids 10&12). It is clean, has a good pool on the beach that they keep very clean (not too much chlorine) and the rooms are very spacious. The hotel’s restaurant has delicious food and good staff. We will be back."

"Room was very clean and spacious. Lots of room in the showers, though controlling the temp was a little challenging. Beto (owner) was very nice, hospitable, and helpful. Lots of fruit trees on property along with 3 friendly pups. Breakfast was fantastic. Best we had in Panama. When arriving, you may need to open and close the gate. Doesn't mean its closed."

"What a beautiful little Casita set overlooking the jungle and a view of the river. You can go out on your patio each morning and watch the sun come up and the mist rising from the valley. It is freaking amazing! The hosts were so helpful, friendly, and truly wonderful people. Whenever I go back to this area I will always check to see if their place is available first."
