Staying at Jay's Guest House deep in the Blue Mountains was a great experience. It's an opportunity to get away from the typical tourist areas of Jamaica and have an authentic Jamaican experience. Jay has a wonderful family and they make you feel right at home. I would recommend the Blue Mountain peak sunrise hike and buying some of the best coffee I've ever had.

After a handful of stays here, this definitely feels like a home away from home. The Blue Window restaurant menu need more selection of food especially Jamaican crusine. Checkin needs to be improve. Too demanding especially when I paid for 2 person in room. The Front Desk was insisting on other person name even when the petson eventually did not make it to the hotel. Concern was about the unknown person may show for breakfast in my case this did not happen. I was the only person that was in my room but the Expedia reservation automatic place for two petson. Terra Nova has a charm that many other hotels in Kingston lack. The staff is warm and personable, they will help you with what ever you need.It is ultimately the quintessential go to hotel in Kingston for me. True Jamaican hospitality! If you enjoy Jamaican culinary I would highly recommend.

My family and I enjoyed this property. The staffs were very professional, the property well kept, my room and bathroom were very clean. I enjoyed our meals at the onsite restaurant. I recommend this hotel.
