Cozy new England style cottage Right on Wine and Beer Trail

Cozy all season New England-style cottage that sleeps 7 overnight . Fire pit, gas grill, wifi, gas-fireplace for winter days. A/C and ceiling fans for those extremely hot days. Covered boat hoist and expanded 100'dock. Eat in kitchen has some spices . Centrally located right on the wine and beer trail. Smart TV for streaming favorite movies. A very tranquil property, winter or summer. 6 miles to boat launch and boat rentals. Very central to all the lakes winery's. Linens provided. Great cell phone service. Covered outdoor grill area and covered deck area, for rainy days.
Seperate fire pits , dock, kayaks, and paddle boat are shared with our Bungalow rental.
Pets are allowed as long as $50. pet fee is paid to cover extra cleaning. We have to wash furniture top covers after.

This Lake House Cottage is a true gem. I absolutely loved waking up to the view of the sunrise each morning. The back bedroom overlooks the lake and the many windows let all of the light in. I read an entire novel on the back porch listening to the lolling roll of the lake. I would definitely love to return.

Quaint little cottage right on the lake. Perfect for a weekend getaway in wine country! My husband and I enjoyed our stay with our dog (who enjoyed the views and the lake). Close to wineries, very neat and clean!

Perfect spot!

This place is just perfect if you are looking for some privacy, all amenities that you need are provided, great view and plenty to do. Its on a dead end street so not much traffic at all! Highly recommend.

Easter at the lake

We enjoyed our Easter weekend on Seneca Lake. The cottage was perfect for our family to slow downand enjoy each other. The sunrise on the lake was magnificent!

Just what we were looking for....

We were looking for a place to relax and this was it. The bedroom on the back half of the house gave a lovely view morning and evening with the sound of the water as a backdrop. We utilized the kayaks and spent time just sitting on the dock. The area offered lots to do: restaurants, wineries, boat tours, etc. Although the house is situated between train tracks and the lake, the tracks did not interfere with our relaxation.

Air conditioning is cold, the house was clean. The hosts were willing to be flexible on the checkout time. The listing is somewhat misleading as we were under the assumption that the bungalow was included, however we learned that its an "option".

Very nice cottage. Beautiful scenery.

Our stay at this property was very pleasant and peaceful. Everything we needed, besides food and drink, was supplied. We unfortunately picked the coldest week of the summer. So we had no chance to go out on the water. But overall, it was a great getaway for a few days. Lots to do in the area, and lots of dining choices nearby. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Very relaxing/scenic/peaceful

Although it was a miserable rainy/raw week - we had a great time in the cottage - it was warm & pleasant. The view of the lake from the rear of the cottage was breath taking & so very relaxing. Our dog Bogie was mesmerized by the view and so were we. We took several trips around the lake and visited a few wineries. We cooked in the cottage most nights, or we obtained take out from The Elephant Thai Restaurant & Ciccino's Italian Restaurant in Geneva - good food!! Tim & Bonnie provided everything you could need in the cabin - from linens/towels/spices/etc. All in all, a great mini vacation.

Comfortable, cozy, coveniently located cottage!

We had a great time! The cottage is rustic and quaint, but with all the creature comforts of home away from home, including a dog/kid gate on the porch which was awesome. Bed and pillows in the porch room were great, along with all the window shades to save you from the sunrise of you don't want to wake up early and dressing privacy from the lake and the main house. The small room bed could use a topper for extra cushion but still not bad. This place had everything we needed except marshmallow skewers, we left some there for the next visitors. Convenient travel to all the attractions...15 min to Penn Yan, wineries all along the way, 15 minutes to Geneva, several state parks within a half hour drive, tons of flea markets and antiquing within reasonable distances. Lots of great little towns to visit. Great ice creameries close by. My only 3 cons are 1) childproofing (door on utility room door has no latch and slide bolt is on the inside of the door?? - all cleaning chemicals and drawers of spray paint, etc all in low cabinets and drawers in the bathroom) 2) the main stairs to the water are dangerous. Oddly spaced and slippery when wet, need some step grip tape. The shared stairway is much safer. 3) Entrance to the lake for swimming is very rocky (take your water shoes) and there is no ladder to get back onto the dock if you want to swim out there. Again, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay and would stay again. It rained alot while we were there, great show on the porch.
