However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. On stripping of the beds as requested by the cleaning company notes left in the chalet, my daughter was quite upset to discover a dodgy looking yellow stain on the mattress protector under the bottom sheet and also on the pillows. This was quite...

The Fanny Talbot

10/10 Excellent

"The room was exceptionally clean and a good size also had a small kitchenette which was a nice touch, so if you fancy a drink before going out you can cook your wine. Good air con warm and cool. The staff were very attentive. Can’t fault anything and we would definitely stay again if we come to this area. Great value for money"

Riverside Cottage, Abergwynant (sleeps up to 3) - don't forget your binoculars!

10/10 Excellent

"Cottage was fantastic, clean, tidy and everything you could want. Location was perfect with the river and walks and trails. Any query that I had was answered promptly. All in all I would highly recommend and if I get chance to visit the area again this is where I would want to stay."

The Hafod Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"I absolutely loved this hotel. The only thing was having to walk from their car park to the hotel which wasn’t very well signed but in all fairness was I could have read about this before checking in. Staff were amazing and so very friendly. They were happy to help and offer advice throughout the stay. Dinner and breakfast was lovely. Cocktails great and overall a beautiful stay - if I could have stayed an extra night I would have done. Our room was up in the rafters and was superb. A twin bedded room with everything you needed. The beds and pillows were lush! The bathroom was fabulous but I didn’t get a chance to use the bath unfortunately! Amazing views of the valley from the hotel and right next door to devils bridge and water falls - stunning location. Thanks so much for the best stay last weekend."
