Kennedy House
10/10 Excellent
"Great location. We had Room 201 which is a King Superior and it was on the top floor facing the street. Without lifting my head from the pillow I could see the boats in the harbour and what stage the tide was at. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. There is a bar and restaurant on the main floor which can be handy but it doesn’t open until 12 which I guess is helpful so as not to disturb the guests. It is a little odd that the check in desk is manned by the servers but they are helpful and come right away when someone comes to the desk. There is not a worker to be found in the morning when you are leaving which feels a little odd but we had no issues. The inn was built in the 1800’s so it is very old so expect that in the interior finishing and the furnishings. Our bed and bedding was very comfortable. There was a lovely staircase and I was pleasantly surprised to find they have an elevator. There is parking onsite at the side of the hotel but if there are people there just for the restaurant it could get full quickly."

"Booked last minute. Front desk was very pleasant even with my late arrival. Checkin was fast. Donuts, coffee and yogurt in the morning in the main lobby. Very quiet and no trouble sleeping. I’d stay here again."
