"Room was clean, bathroom nicely refurbished. Hate that the room fan only runs while actively heating, many of us sleep better with white noise from the fan. Breakfast was very good (waffles, ‘eggs’, sausage, but no Raisin Bran), the staff at breakfast attentive and helpful but instead of a news channel at breakfast it was some chamber of commerce public access advertising loop…bizarre and annoying after a day or two. Perfect location, just off the highway at the entrance to Acadia and easy access to the mainland and Bar Harbor. Will definitely stay here again."

"Loved the staff and getting to know them. I’m glad I spent a whole week there with my WELCOMED dog. She loved it there, too. The walk down to the water was a delight. The room was comfortable and anyone would easily notice the building is SO WELL MAINTAINED and loved by all who work there. I’ll miss being there. Oh, and the fact that every room has THE VIEW is amazingly great original planning. "
