"We were very glad we stayed at the Village Hotel as we could drive around the grounds after hours and get oriented to the beautiful estate. The next day we spent the morning in the gardens with the gardens under glass being particularly impressive. The Hotel service was excellent and there good dining alternatives available. We did a one night stay at the end of a road trip."

"This is the place you go to if you want to get a way but don’t like camping. This place is beautiful in the spring. Quiet. The complimentary breakfast is a real breakfast. It’s clean. I felt safe. I only wish they had a second lock on the door of the room. The rooms do not have TV’s. Or a phone. So. It feels like camping. It allowed me to unwind from the noise of the world. I didn’t have great cell service in my room. But they have free WiFi. So you can make phone calls using their WiFi. This also allowed more rest. Just peace and quiet. To listen to the birds and read. If you want to just be for a day or two. Or longer. Without the noise of life. But close to restaurants, shopping and awesome views. This is the place to go. I definitely plan to go back. "
