Welcome to the Ocean Melodies vacation home. This spacious non-smoking 2 bedroom 2.5 bath vacation rental condo located in the Purple Parrot Resort in Perdido Key, Florida near southwest Pensacola and Orange Beach, Alabama. This warm and cozy condo in location in the center of the resort near the indoor pool house, has over 1100 square feet with two large balconies and will comfortably sleep up to 6 people. The lower balcony is screened in and the upper balcony is open air for those warm summer nights and this vacation home faces east so get the morning sun. Our island location offers you beautiful sunrises in the mornings along the quiet shoreline which is within a half mile and a great vacation setting in a less crowded and family-oriented old Florida style atmosphere resort. | | The master bedroom has been furnished with a king bed, a wall mounted flat screen television and nice plenty of storage space for your belongings. Along with having access to the large upstairs balcony the master bedroom also has its own a private full bathroom. The guest bedroom has been furnished with two full beds, a wall mounted flat screen television as well with an accompanying DVD player and it too has a private full bathroom. | | You will enjoy the comfort of having the lower level of the condo as a living room, dining room, washer and dryer, half bathroom and full kitchen with plenty of windows to let in the warm Florida sunshine. The living room has a large flat screen television, DVD player, wireless internet and surround sound with iPod docking station. And, for those who are unable to get away from work for the entire duration of their vacation, the coffee table top raises up to a comfortable level to work from the couch or one of the living room chairs. The dining table has seating for 6 and enough cookware and dinnerware to enjoy dinner as a family on your vacation. | | Certain parts of the year require a minimum number of nights to be booked online. Purple Parrot

We love the fact you didn’t have to leave the resort but we visit the beach. Even though our kids were like can we just go back to the pool. Convenient to area restaurants and shopping. Oh the staff at the tiki bar and grill are fantastic. Will definitely be back.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Always loved Purple Parrot. Been here 4 times now. This unit was not clean, Kitchen cabinets torn up. Sinks stopped. Electrical outlets didn't work. Closet door broken, Bedroom floor patched, lampshades broken. Had to move beds out to find an outlet and move lamps around. light bulbs didn't work. Very disappointed. Not a clothes hanger or hair dryer there. No blinds on front door, no privacy. No trash bags for kitchen. Angry that I was told weeks ago the tiki bar was opened for my son in law.I called the office specifically for this reason. This was our only vacation and we expected better accomodations. No rugs in rooms. Only 1 bath rug. Floors were sticky and we had to use towels by front door to keep the sand out.
