We had a wonderful weeks stay with our dog over Christmas break!
The house was spacious and well laid out with a bright and clean kitchen (and all the tools you need to host), two bathrooms, two huge bedrooms, and lots of storage. The yard was completely fenced in which was great for our dog - and I could see how in summer months it would be great for backyard bbq and fun. The neighborhood is quiet with a few walking paths. The house had plenty of space for families, firewood and a small fireplace, and the hosts were so kind to leave us a Christmas tree and decorations! 🎄Having a car is recommended. We loved The Packet Inn and The Welloe for breakfast and a walking on the beach. We hope to return!

The location was perfect for us to visit relatives nearby.
The location was perfect for us to visit relatives nearby. The barn itself was lovely and comfortable and we loved using the log burner at the end of the day. As we were there in January we were able to take the dogs on the beaches we definitely recommend Praa Sands and Long Rock both within a short drive from the barn. We will most certainly be returning to Trennal Barn.

Just what we were looking for.
This is an excellent barn conversion with everything well thought out. Parking is good, all the plumbing works well and it is generally comfortable. It is in a very quiet area. We were there during the June heatwave and it was lovely and cool. One rather good feature was the superb vegetable stall near the Great Works mine. WiFi fine.

Rural retreat
Enjoyed a lovely week's stay at Trennal Barn exploring the local coastal towns, villages and coastlines.
The barn's location offered particular opportunities for some ancestry research into our tin miner ancestors.
The barn offered a comfortable and enjoyable place to return to and relax after a day's excursion.
The cutlery tray would benefit from a couple more kitchen knives. Also some additional mugs for tea / coffee.
