"The hotel is a lovely historical motel. Very good value with the free breakfast. Gulgong is a great little town. The motel's cafe/restaurant Larsens serves delicious food. My husband and I had the grilled salmon which came with chips and salad. One of the best meals while on our road trip. Hope to return one day"

"Enfield House is such a beautiful property, peacefully set just on the outskirts of Mudgee. Our room was spotless and so comfortable, and the verandah was the perfect place to relax, it felt like a little retreat. The breakfast was fresh and simple, just what we needed before heading out for the day. We loved our stay and would happily come back again."

"The Horatio Suites Hotel is a lovely renovated property in Mudgee. The rooms are spacious and include a balcony, which is a great feature. However, it was disappointing that there were no chairs provided on the balcony, we had to drag one from inside to enjoy it. We were also a little let down that the hotel didn’t acknowledge our anniversary; a small gesture such as a late checkout, a complimentary drink, or even a simple note would have been a nice touch, particularly as it’s not on the cheaper side of hotels in Mudgee. Saying that, we would stay there again."
