Upon arrival, we were told that we were the only ones staying that night! This made it feel like a fairy tale - a chateau all to ourselves! The historical flavor of the property made us feel like we were back in the 17th century. We were served an excellent multi-course meal by Chef Carole, who not only prepped and prepared our meal, but personally served it to us. Upon our departure, we were offered a private tour of the Chateau by the owner. The owners, their new puppy, and sweet dog were lovely hosts. They provided a custom and unforgettable 24 hours. However, Mele (the nearest town) was a little disappointing as most of the businesses were closed for a few weeks while we were there, in August but we had a lovely stay and the owner was very helpful."
