"Perfect location for walking to the local shops, bars, and restaurants. It started raining at night but we were able to sit outside our room under cover and watch the storm over the water. We'll be back."

"Such a great little house tucked in the woods up around the quiet northern part of Door County. It lived up to its description and pictures. It was clean, and nicely furnished with a well stocked kitchen. The hosts were easy to work with and responsive. If you enjoy looking at the stars with your telescope or taking pictures of the night sky, this is a great place to stay. It's close to Newport State Park which is a dark sky preserve and the yard is also nice and dark if you just want to sit outside and look up at the sky. I only have one minor suggestion, and that is to consider adding wifi to the home's amenities since the cell signal isn't particularly strong there. Otherwise everything was great and I would happily return!"

"We very much enjoyed this property. It was a busy weekend, but here we felt secluded and completely relaxed. The home was so cute and cozy, especially the fireplace!!! We had all of kitchen pots, pans and baking dishes we could ask for. We had a couple of wonderful spirited Scrabble games as well. Thank you Karl for such a lovely retreat"
