"The property was beautiful and very well done from a design standpoint. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was great. 24 hour gym, nice indoor pool. The location is also good - very historic, quaint, and walkable to several dining and cafe options. Only negatives were that our refrigerator didnt work and the parking was very limited."

"We very much enjoyed our one night stay. Clean bedroom and bath. The building is of historic design. The exterior and interior walls are of large granite blocks. The hotel is located in the country site, it is quiet and has a very helpful and accommodating staff. We would like to go back for a longer stay. "

"we did late-check-in. but the way that pass the key was really irresponsible and NOT safe, I think. I didnt realize her contact & 24hour contact didn't work, so we took long time to check-in (Guimaraes might be a safe place, but...😥😫) Also "the reception opens at 10am" is too late. the price is really reasonable if guests don't do late-check-in. "
