"Stayed here over a long weekend with my wife on a winter getaway. This place was everything we were looking for. From the saunas to the hot tub everything was amazing and help provide a quiet relaxing weekend away to read and unwind. Josh was an amazing host. Was always quick to respond and help with anything we had questions on. We've used VRBO for years and I'll say Josh was the most gracious and responsive host we have ever had. Thanks for such an amazing weekend."

"The great kitchen was fully stocked, with two refrigerators, two crock pots, both a traditional coffee pot and a Kurig! Nice double oven. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of pillows and towels. They had a beautiful Christmas tree and other decorations for our celebration!! We had plenty of room for our family of 14. Unfortunately we could not get the fireplace to work and lights flickered. However we would stay there again! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!! "

"Such a wonderful Fall weekend getaway. We were in the area for a wedding, but were so surprised at how beautiful Perham is. We loved eating and shopping in town, heading to Maplewood State Park for a beautiful Fall hike, and enjoying the views and calmness at the Lake House. The home was very clean, spacious, and has everything you need. Hopefully we can make it back someday! "

"The host was easy to communicate with and we made good memories. Location in Ottertail close to Perham and Detroit Lakes was nice. However there were some things lacking. The house was not clean… dusty, cat hair, ceilings, fans, floor. Animal feces outside (dog or bear?) and in game room by table (dog?). Games in game room were just okay. floor. It needed more furniture / comfortable seating. We brought outdoor chairs inside. It needed a bigger dining room table. Dishes and utensils were definitely lacking. Blackstone slow to heat and basically unusable. Wi fi wasn’t working. Stray cat around outside was friendly but we had to feed it… bowl of water and food dish was outside. "
