"The property was clean and well furnished in modern style. However, the welcome we received was very unfortunate. There was no key box so we had to be met personally. The appointed meeting hour was brought forward by the property manager and when we were delayed by twenty minutes because of unforeseen traffic, she threatened to make us wait until the evening. She was unfriendly, queried the presence of our dog, for whom I had gained permission (she had no record of this) and for whom we had paid...

"Nous avons passé un bon séjour à Benerville sur mer. Nous avons été très bien accueilli. La villa est spacieuse, propre, au calme. Il faisait un peu frais mais il n'a pas plu !!!! De ce fait, nous n'avons pas pu profiter des terrasses. La villa est très bien placée puisque nous sommes allés à Deauville à pied."

"The location of the house was superb for morning and afternoons on the beach for swimming, relaxing and introducing a toddler to the sea. The house itself was beautifully equipped and comfortable for us all, and the small town perfect for early morning coffee and excellent croissants with a choice of small restaurants for other meals. "The size and location were good. I had thought that there was private parking but it was actually on the road side. Luckily the road was very quiet. The fittings - furniture, bathroom fittings and kitchen ware - were old and worn. There was lots of crockery but few pieces of cutlery and mugs - unless you wanted chipped or plastic ones.
