"Great location, 20 minutes from Old Town, 10 minutes from Universitate metro, but on a busy road so you may want to keep the windows shut. Fortunately there is efficient air conditioning (controlled by a remote). Clean, comfortable, with a small kitchenette (fridge, sink, microwave, kettle). I kept the blinds closed against the heat and the workmen outside, and then found the lighting a little dim. Brighter bulbs and/or a bedside light would be welcome."

"Our experience at the Metropole Apartments was just sublime from end to finish. They arranged us a private transfer from the airport and Nico the driver was very sweet and kind explaining us the city like an experienced tour guide. The apartment itself very modern, spacious and clean. We enjoyed the huge rain shower in the bathroom:) Cristi allowed us a later check-out free of charge. "A lovely spacious property but there were lacking a few things. 3 x 42" Tvs none of which were set up we managed to get two working but there were only about 3 working channels. The air con in the living room and bedroom did not work. Such a lovely big kitchen but no toaster or microwave. It could of done with having a few bits like salt and pepper."

"Although the cleaning fees were not stated on Expedia, the apartment was cute with customer service answering the phone and giving me prompt advice when needed. Except the kitchen appliances and cutlery support as well as knifes, forks, etc. and theirs drawer, the apartment was clean and really cozy, with a big balcony facing the park on the west. "Perfect base to explore Bucharest without being in the busy city centre. Short drive to the airport and Therme, which should not be missed! Great food options close by, Gaetana's take-away pizza and Elephant Cafe morning coffees were a big hit. Apartment was clean and spacious, offered everything we needed, could benefit from a few extra pillows on the beds. Street is busy during the day but becomes quiet in the evening and noise was not an issue due to the good quality glazing and dark...
