"This is a great place to stay for a quiet, serene, laid-back vacation. It’s a beautiful property and the manager was an excellent communicator. The house staff was quite pleasant and very accommodating. Any information we needed was giving to us immediately. It was a pleasant and most enjoyable week at this property. It was exactly as described online and our family enjoyed it so much they all want to return and stay at this property. Huge thank you to all the staff for making our vacation such a blessing. Awesome place"

"I truly enjoyed my stay the property was well kept, the staff was on point The restaurants breakfast and overall menu was very good There’s also Coconuts about a 7 minute walk from the lodge at Hideaways resort Quicker to get to through the beach then the road The lodge is a great place for families, within walking distance to the beach Plenty of places to eat and relax in the area Parellel Surf across from the lodge is the bomb! Try the cold plunge if you dare! Game changer after a few days of surfing The surfing was fun but only good from sunrise to about 11A for beginners at this time of year If your into kite surfing it’s a plus If you’re a more experienced surfer there were other spots to hit but limited I would definitely recommend the lodge and hope to come back when the waves are bigger Over all I had an amazing trip Bring bug spray the mosquitos are relentless at night lol Can’t wait to go back, miss it already!!!"

"Host and assistants were extremely helpful and responsive. Upon arrival, someone was available to help with out bags, give us a tour, showed us tips and tricks, and even provided coconuts from the trees on the property. Overall, the house is exactly as described - beautiful pool, terrace, etc. There are so many ammenities included - full kitchen with appliances, utensils, and accutraments, pool towels, grill, etc etc. The only issue is the location. On VRBO, the positing makes it seem like the house is on or near Playa Encuentro. It is not. The actual address was not provided until after checkin at 3pm. Its actually located between Playa Encuentro and Cabarete, no where near the beach. Lost a because of deceptive location marketing. The house is, otherwise, amazing. "
