"Overall, nice hotel and enjoyed my four-night stay. Location wise, there’s not much in the immediate Arlon area to see/do/eat. However, this hotel is a great jumping off spot for visiting further surrounding sightseeing locations. As for the hotel itself, there are three issues for the hotel to seriously consider for its new addition currently under construction. 1- Don’t put the toilet in a separate room from a sink. Having to walk from the toilet room and into the separate sink & shower room just to wash hands was tedious and poor design. 2- The hotel allows pets, and there were a lot (a lot) of dogs! If the hotel wishes to be pet friendly, it should remove the carpet from the guest rooms and go with hard flooring for cleanliness. And think about reserving a number of rooms that won’t allow dogs/cats for guests who have pet dander allergies. 3- Think about incorporating some green space on the property! As currently it’s just the hotel and a large gravel parking lot. "

"This was a self booked, explore of Bastogne to satisfy my WWII interests. Don't let the location (above a gas station/convenience store) discourage you. Staff was GREAT! Thanks to Amory for an easy check-in and OMG Carine! She went out of her way to make it easy, fun and memorable to her non-french speaking guests. Highly recommended if you are exploring the area. Well done Le Merceny!"

"Small and friendly Appart-Hotel. When we arrived, we were informed that we had been upgraded to a larger room which was a pleasant surprise. The room was really nice and had a lot of things you would need to make meals. The coffee machine was also a welcomed sight. The bed was comfortable and we had a good night sleep until the church opposite woke us up at 7am. Thankfully we had set our alarm for then anyway! The hotel is next to a fairly busy road, so if you keep the windows open then you may require earbuds. There is a bus right outside the hotel, so you could easily travel into the city from there. There is a beautiful chateau and garden (which is free) a few minutes drive away. "

"Geared toward Americans for obvious reasons. Modern hotel with nice room features. The restaurant is amazing; Mexican menu with a twist, and a more typical menu. It can get busy. "

"Clean, one bedroom apartment with all the basic amenities with good view of the Cathedral. Can be bit noisy due to the roundabout next to the apartment, but otherwise nice apartment with parking and helpful, friendly staff."

"The accommodation is new so definitely they have a lot to learn but the room itself was faultless. I wish the counter didn't upsell the breakfast because that was horrible for 25 euros per pax. The staff could not cope with the few people and most of the trays were empty at 930am. Eggs were very oily. Total lack of variety with no vegetables or salads for the morning. Lack of fruits as well. Was not worth the money at all. And that made the stay a let down. "
