"Pros: La casa tiene unas vistas impresionantes y está situada en una zona verdaderamente privilegiada, rodeada de naturaleza y en un entorno súper tranquilo. Estaba impoluta y es muy, pero que muy acogedora. El detalle del hórreo justo en el exterior, con sus mesitas para poder desayunar mientras disfrutas de las vistas a los Picos de Europa, es ya la guinda del pastel. "My family and I spent an amazing week in lovely Ribadesella as guests of Meli and Carlos . We visited in July from the USA. and they were so helpful answering questions before our trip. The apartment is well maintained, clean, and spacious. It has all the amenities of home to feel comfortable. "We really enjoyed our stay at Ricao! Absolutely gorgeous views, comfortable accommodations, and fast responses from the hosts. So lovely to sit outside each morning and enjoy coffee in the beautiful mountains. We were particularly grateful for the company of the donkey who greeted us each morning. Arcea Hotel Mirador de Cabrales

10/10 Excellent

"Great location for hiking - breakfast was excellent and staff very friendly"

Hotel Villa Rosario, El Palacete

10/10 Excellent

"Location , view , room space and comfort great . What I was very dissapointed in , so beware ! , arriving mid September no bar or restaurant open , no service offered outside of breakfast . We chose this hotel because we would be able to sit on terrace with a drink each day , and eat dinner there as we chose . Our room cost did not change with 2 key amenities unavailable . Take care to ask right questions when booking . Breakfast service fabulous ."

Kaype - Quintamar

8/10 Good

"The location next a very nice beach was its best feature. However, we were put into a room in a building that was not attached to the hotel proper rather than in a room in the actual hotel. But the staff was very responsive to our requests for a small refridgerator. And the beach was very nice. All in all, a nice stay."

Mirador de Moriyón

10/10 Excellent

"I travelled to the hotel on a motorcycle through mountain roads in the hope of seeing the total solar eclipse on 12th August. The place impressed from the start, Welcoming receptionist and an aesthetic vibe unlike anywhere I've stayed, and the room merited the superior' tag - with a sumptuous bathroom, offering an unprecedented (for me) shower experience. Wonderful after the effort of getting there. A multinational group of guests enhanced the sense of being somewhere very special. The view on arrival evening was sunny and sublime, but alas a change of wind direction, as forecast, resulted in us being enveloped in cloud almost all the following day, including during the eclipse. Breakfast was freshly prepared and provided a wonderful selection of savoury and sweet, including fresh fruits. A heavy cold confined me to the immediate vicinity after walking down into Villaviciosa for food and some drink as the bar service was closed due to the staff being limited on eclipse evening, but our in-room refrigerators were kindly stocked with drinks to compensate. I wish, on reflection, that I had stayed a third night, not only because of the cold symptoms, but because it was such a relaxing setting. Another year, also, I would not choose months other than August for visiting the area again. Visit again I will, though!"
