"Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Huge and delicious breakfast in the ground floor of the hotel, in a typical traditional setting. Very clean rooms and beautiful bathrooms, reasonably priced. So far, the only hotel with coffee and water provided as courtesy. Dinner consists of very traditional and delicious food home made by the manager, who is the wife of a chef who is really famous in the Gjirokaster-Tepelani region. The hotel staff are really good at recommending interesting sights and very helpful with finding a way to go to the myriad of beautiful places like Antigonea and Hadrianopolis. I was meant to stay just one night. I have decided to stay three. Says it all…"

"Tony the manager was very welcoming, all of the staff were helpful and friendly. Beautiful boutique hotel in Gjirokaster, only a 5-10 min walk from the centre of town. The spa and pool was nice and the view of the castle and mountains is stunning. Definitely would recommend staying here!"

"We only spent night in this magical hotel, but wish we'd spent longer. Though somewhat tricky to drive to, there is a big parking lot, and it's only a 5 min walk down the hill to the old town and restaurants. The view is stunning, with a lovely garden from which we enjoyed the delicious breakfast. The building is charming and our room was decorated with delightful antique elements."

"Clean, modern and nicely appointed room with great views. We appreciated the included parking spot- super helpful in this town. Loved the bedding and toiletries that were included. My only complaint is that the AC didn’t seem to work as efficiently as it should for a newly renovated room. Also the room darkening shades are amazing and keep it very dark. Would recommend!!"

"I recently stayed at villa permet which a 20 minute drive to the thermal baths. My mother and I were very very impressed and pleased with the villa, it was impeccably clean and beautifully done. Staff was wonderful, they even went out of their way when my mom forgot her bag and they had it delivered by bus to our next destination to saranda. With all its contents including my moms NY drivers license inside. Very trustworthy people including the bus driver"

"Beautiful hotel. Perfect location & easy to get to by car. Parking is limited but there are spaces, and staff will move your car for you if needed. Room was spotless and beautifully decorated in traditional style. Breakfast was delicious, traditional platter of olives, cucumber, tomato’s & watermelon, bread basket & spreads & jams, plus some cake & pastry with fig jam and on top of that a fresh omelette & a sausage. Coffee, juice & water in offer for drinks. Would definitely recommend this hotel."

"This hotel is a real bargain. The rooms are just beautiful with incredibly comfortable beds. It is located very near the castle, although one needs to take a taxi or bus (not walk to it), although it our case the owner volunteered to drive us to it. The owners are very helpful and speak fluent English. The breakfasts are excellent. Free parking on the street in front of hotel. I highly recommend this hotel."
