After a full day of travel, it was nice to have encountered a friendly, helpful clerk could check us into our room. Even though it’s an older hotel, everything was clean and the bed was firm. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs an overnight stay in the area. It won’t break the bank.

Our room was fairly clean. The bed really needs a new mattress. Was a very old and tired bed. The AC unit was LOUD. I woke every time it came on. The room was very small. The cleaning staff came after the first night and replaced towels and soaps and removed a dead beetle. Which was perfect. Exactly what I wanted. The breakfast was ok. We didn't get down until 9ish both days. And there was very little waffle mix left the first day and none the second day. The eggs were circles sitting in water. Very unappetizing. But overall not a horrible stay.

Went to the area for the fair grounds. The pool was broken somehow and it was closed; was not told before I booked the room. Our bed had a couple small spiders in it; had to squash them… The room was extremely hot because the ac unit wasn’t on at all. There are appears to be “long time” residents. Plants growing in the windows and the smell of weed or drugs being consumed. At night I did feel the need to conceal carry; and I did… The staff was friendly enough; no problems there. The ice machine worked great for filling a small cooler for the day. If you JUST need a place to sleep at then it’s okay… If you need a place to comeback too during the day and kill time or do more than sleep I’d say spend another 50ish dollars and get a better hotel to be honest. I’m used to staying at Hilton’s or Fairview hotels and they have always been acceptable or excellent experiences. This hotel is in desperate need of a remodel and up keep. But for just sleeping it’s okay.

The bed was super comfy and it was clean. the only thing I would say is upon entry it was very stuffy but once we turned the air conditioner up, it was great. all around a good stay

The staff were courteous, the room was clean but the breakfast was terrible, I've prepared food for folks for over 65 years and eaten all over the world .I've never seen dehydrated or substitute eggs cooked as flat hard hard pancakes and then placed in a shallow pan with a layer of water at the bottom to keep it warm and the sausage was served the exact same way.

The handicap room we were was not much in handicap accommodations. The shower was a regular tub. There were handles and all that. The hand held showerhead was missing a bracket that held it on the sliding rod. It was up by the regular head which was mounted for 6 ft plus people. There was no way to hold it and shower too. The laminate on the bath door was peeling off. Looked rough. The room was very clean.

Had a good week!

The rooms are large and nicely upgraded. I loved the super soft sheets. Nice open area with plenty of space for the dogs. Bonus the chic filet is right next door. We stayed a week and had no problems.
