Amazing Mountain Views on Large Private Maine Wilderness-Modern Offgrid 300 acre

"This property, Top of the Mill in Maine, is a once in a lifetime experience that you MUST see to believe. If you are looking for something extraordinary, look no further than this VRBO! We stayed recently for our 10 year anniversary and are still in awe of the property and it's mountain. While the inside of the home is fully stocked with great amenities, including a gym, a game room, a full kitchen and pantry, lovely linens and soaps...the outside of this home is what will take your breath away. With every step throughout the house, you are looking out at an amazing view, the home offers 360 degree uninterrupted views of countless mountains and ranges. The seclusion this home offers, on 300 acres of undeveloped mountain was amazing to take in during our sunny September long weekend. I was thankful to the attentive hosts, as the property is unique and something we were not used to! Any question was answered quickly, which gave us a great peace of mind. To note: We got donuts at Cliffords, lunch at Bear Belly's, and drove to Rangeley to stop at the Furbish Brew House (outstanding views) and Saddleback Mountain. Our recommendation: Do all of your outings in one trip, you wont want to leave this property unless you have to!"

"Very first impressions, pretty spectacular driving up the driveway! Then...we met the neighbor mad Larry. Lol turns out he wasn't so bad. The place was almost perfect, a few minor things, not even worth mentioning. The host was very kind, and I will say we all enjoyed our time here."

"We loved the the auto twinkling lights that were on the outside of house as well as on the deck railings! There was also a lighted tree inside. Loved this even in March! Made us feel welcomed. My daughter and I brought five kids ranging from ages 11-16 and we had a wonderful stay. The open area of the Kitchen, dining, and living room was perfect for starting the day and then unwinding after a day of skiing.The kitchen was amazing. A perfect set up for our group. The kids could eat at the sprawling island. We did a 1000 piece puzzle at night at the dining table as well as having a night of cards. Watching movies on the big screen tv was relaxing. We could all be together. Bedrooms were nicely placed in the home. Plenty of bathrooms(4)! For skiing, the shuttle picked us up and dropped us off. My daughter doesn’t ski, so she could also drop us off and pick us up when we needed her to. The owner made sure the driveway and steps were sanded on the one morning we had freezing rain.. our morning to leave.We would highly recommend staying at this property! Other things we did besides ski and relax at the house: We walked up to the saddleback pub on a Sunday night for appetizers. We visited Evergreen Golf Club on first night for the golf simulator and snacks. We had an overall wonderful stay! "

"Everything was terrific. The house was clean and just seemed to have all of the little things you end up needing. The location is ideal as it is close to the lodge and parking lot and returning is also easy from the terrain park lift. We already booked again for next year."

"Ski in/out was great! Perfect place to enjoy a family vacation. Love this mountain and I would definitely stay at this family home again! The best for me was the never ending fabulous fire wood to make me a firemaster! Don't forget to open the flu..."
