"The use of recycled wood on the interior makes this place gorgeous on the inside. The location can’t be beat. I can’t give this a high rating because this is not for most Sr citizens or people that are physically challenged. You have to climb up a ladder to go to bed. This was not clear in the photos of the property. My wife ended up on a couch. Had they been more transparent about the layout, I probably would’ve stayed elsewhere."

"Gorgeous house with a touching story that continues today. The hosts were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. No problem bringing my pets. The room was clean and large with its own large bathroom. Getting to meet the animals was a joy. I would prioritize booking here again if it's available in the future."

"This is a hidden gem ! The decor is beautiful and the outside area is amazing. We felt at home the minute we walked in. The loveseat is as comfortable (if not more so) than the one in my home. The bed and sheets were also very comfortable . The host thought of everything and the communication was great. We plan to go back at least once a season. It was a wonderful place to unplug."

"We absolutely loved staying at the Beachcomber Suite. Tucked away off the main road, with a massive screened porch to enjoy the country side and gardens. It was cosy, clean, well appointed. The shower was amazing. We had a multi-course dinner at Sassafras on the water which was right up the road, 3 minutes away on the water front. "The property was clean and beautifully decorated. The listing was accurate. Parking is not onsite but we had no issues with finding a spot in the lot at the bottom of the hill. There are a few restaurants walking distance. We went to Lees landing for 2 meals . The food was good and they also had great happy hour specials. We’d definitely stay again. Thank you Amy!!"
