"When we reserved a week stay we thought we would be staying in the big house. That didn't happen, as they assigned us a room across the street in the white clapboard building. The room was large enough, but the floor in our room was tilted slightly on one side. They do not offer breakfast except on weekends, but will give you vouchers to a cafe in town. They do not clean your room unless you hang out the "service" door hanger. No pool. They have a restaurant and pub open some evenings and the food is very good, The difficult part for us was 3 evenings over the weekend at the restaurant the whole street is packed with cars parking wherever they can find room. We parked across from the big house in a small parking lot, so it was okay when the crowd showed up for 2-3 hours and lined the street and the two parking lots at the big house. However on Saturday they even packed the small lot we used. We had to park in the entry drive, as they were positioned to be able to leave. The very best thing about our stay is the people employed there. They were very kind and helpful, and if you ask for something, they are glad to help. They made our stay comfortable and worthwhile despite the minor inconveniences."

"The staff was really, really nice! However, we had booked there because they had a pool and when we got there, they informed us that the prior owner had filled it in, so there was just a patio. They said the new owner wants to put the pool back in next year. The property looks a little older, but the room was comfortable, the air conditioning was great and the hotel was centrally located."

"Rooms were newly remodeled & spotless! Parking was fine. It is located out by itself. The pool was closed due to remodeling. The Continental breakfast was makeshift & cold items only due to remodeling. The ice machine did not have any ice & TV did not work. We did not ask for assistance as it was late & not crucial to us. Staff was pleasant & helpful. It should be a 5 star experience once everything is compleyed. 7/25/2026"

"A wonderful property all around. Parking is a little tight. It would have been beneficial to mention parking is available in the overflow area near the marina. We figured that out but it’s worth mentioning to guests."
