Wonderful building, great property and perfect location for relaxation either for a long weekend or a one night stop after a long journey. Breakfast and dinner snack were delicious.
Restaurant was not fully open for our stay but what we had from the limited menu was a great sample and we would go back for sure.
What a hidden gem! We loved the beautiful decor and gardens. Hot tub and pool were great. Shower and bathroom were a bit outdated but no major complaints.
Very well maintained and clean property with beautiful stone exterior. Great full complimentary breakfast. It is great that students and youth are given opportunities and tools by Pathsaala Inn. Finally, it’s great that dogs stay as well with no added charge.
What an amazing place to stay. The atmosphere was unique and the staff was absolutely amazing... as well as super friendly! The pizza was the best we've ever eaten and the salad was delicious too. Our room was cozy and the bed and pillows were better then home! We will be sending everyone here and can't wait to get back ourselves.
Thanks!
By the time your GPS leads you to this off the beaten path property, you may wonder what you are getting into but it was one of the most memorable locations on our trip. The Swiss cottage style on the outside doesn’t disappoint inside with a three storey spiral staircase, quirky decor around every corner, an indoor pool and large deck. Each morning you are treated to a sit down order from the menu breakfast that is excellent and served by culinary students (included in the price)! Would highly recommend.
The property is unique. I understand each room is different. We had a queen bed on the ground floor with double doors to a back garden. The bed was fine with nice clean bedding - it had an old brass frame. If you want something different from a regular chain, at a competitive price, check it out! Just a very short drive from the highway and full breakfast was included.
Absolutely love this place, we try and visit for an overnight stay every month to recharge and immerse ourselves in some self care amenities on site. Very peaceful, and environmentally therapeutic.
We were delighted with our stay. The room was cozy, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our early morning swim, hot tub and steam room. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly.
This is our second stay in three months. Does not disappoint!
Thank you!
This location was so much fun, we loved the castle look, the amazing staircase, the beautiful artwork and decor. We love the mission of Elephant Thoughts, supporting youth to learn the hospitality business and find jobs. The complimentary breakfast they made us was extraordinary. There were 4 types of juice at breakfast with Cranberry and Rhubarb being our children’s favourite choices. They had meal sizes for kids and adults. There was oat milk for the coffee and an espresso machine that did cappuccinos. All the details were there. There’s even a little canteen where you can buy locally made products, souvenirs and snack food or late night frozen meals. Add in the expansive gardens and the pool, hot tub and sauna and you’ve got a real gem here. They don’t have high chairs or booster seats, so don’t forget to bring your own. Oh, and air conditioning and fans were included in the room with very comfortable beds, a range of pillow sizes, a mini fridge, a coffee machine and a shower and bathtub with jets! We will definitely stay again!
I did not know anything about this place and stumbled upon it. I loved everything about it. I loved the character, the mystery, the stories it told in each room with the art. It was exceptionally clean. I didn’t get a chance to use the pool and hot tub which means I have to come back. It is all really well done. The only reason I gave 4 stars on amenities was because the restaurant was closed for renovations. It made for a hard time finding something to eat at 9pm. That said, I can’t wait to come back. I initially was on the 3rd floor. I have some mobility issues and climbing steps that high proved to be too difficult. However, the staff was beyond accommodating by changing our room to a lower level and even helped move our suitcases. The only thing I would say is if going in the summer, choose the garden view because you cannot see the river in the summer due to all the trees. Fabulous place and am telling my friends!!! Thank you Pathsaala!
The food and drinks are amazing. The property is so cool with a massive garden for the kitchen and pool/sauna/hot tub facilities. Cool rooms and architecture.
The Inn was beautiful. Architect was outstanding, our room was very comfy with 2 queen beds and we had a 1 person jacuzzi tub which was very comfortable. Water was very hot in both tub and shower. The waitress for breakfast was very friendly however that was the only staff you seen the entire time you were there. I did send the inn and email 2x about late checkout but never did receive a reply so having workers onsite would have helped with that issue. We were there for sports in the area so the main sitting area was perfect for gatherings and eating together. Town is very small and has a lot of charm but keep in my mind most of it shuts down for the off season. Would definitely go back but during peak season.
