Hotels.com originally booked us into a different hotel and then sometime later called to say the the hotel was closed and they would find another hotel for us, which they did. Hotel Vittoria was an excellent replacement and I would guess better than the first choice. The great experience started with Roberta at Reception. She was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay, it felt like luxury without it being in your face. Breakfast was fine, lots of cakes and pastries. The room was comfortable and I think all of them have small balconies, that was a major plus. The art was different but cool. And the bagno attached to the hotel, it is separate, but two loungers and an umbrella was only €23 for the day. The pool was also a really nice and refreshing option. Best hotel! Someone had a concept for a great hotel and created this place. The decor was great, thought-provoking. The breakfast was awesome, with the French pastries daintily set upon their little stands and the meats refrigerated from below. The room was delightful and the shower was great...and roomy. We had planned one night and stayed over for two. The staff was nice; when we left they gave us two water bottles and a bag of cookies. Everything was perfece. I would spend a week here...
