B & B in Pescara

Stayed here before moving on elsewhere in Italy. It wouldn't be easy to find without Google maps or equivalent, but once you're there it's very good. The place is in the hills beyond Pescara but is near enough for easy access to the town.

Check in vergognoso. Ho prenotato per i miei operai pagando in anticipo e sono accolti facendoli aspettare per non si sa quale motivo. Il giorno successivo hanno cambiato stanza e li hanno fatti pernottare in una pseudo stanza al piano interrato che sembrava più una cantina che altro. Trattamento indecente solo perché non sono arrivati in giacca e cravatta. Il pagamento in anticipo però ,quello andava bene...!! Una vergogna!

Non mi è piaciuto

Capisco la gestione familiare ma la pulizia della stanza della cucina e della sala da pranzo è scarsa. Gli escrementi dei cani nel giardino non aiutano. Nessuno pretende un 5 stelle se si paga poco ( 2 adulti e una bimba di 1 anno 49 € per una notte con una colazione quasi indecente però) ma sono sempre un ospite e prima di sedere al mio tavolo me lo devi chiedere e non è detto che io voglia stare in tua compagnia sempre.

Ask exactly how much extra it will cost!

The host was personable, the room was clean however in the description they said air conditioning. When I arrived I was told if I wanted a room with air conditioning I would have to pay a little bit more because the room was larger. I said ok. When I checked out I ended up paying 20 euros more.

Sono andata via alla ricerca di un altro hotel.

Un posto del genere non va considerato nella categoria Hotel. E' una casa isolata con 4 cani da guardia, un cancello rotto che obbliga parcheggiare fuori su una strada in salita, la stanza buia, piccola e opprimente. Sono andata via alla ricerca di un altro hotel, spero solo di non avere sgradite sorprese sull'estratto conto della carta di credito (avendo lasciato il numero sul sito al momento della prenotazione).

Servizio deludente

E' stato deludente in quanto i servizi menzionati sul sito erano inesistenti. Non è stata rifatta la camera ne il cambio asciugamani. Colazione quasi inesistente. Parcheggio fuori e non all'interno come dichiarato. Non esisteva ne vasca idromassaggio ne palestra come pubblicizzato. Ho speso di meno o uguali in hotel con migliori condizioni.

NOT A HOTEL!!!!!

This is NOT A HOTEL! It is in the middle of nowhere, and there is not even a sign that marks this place! It is a large private house, run by an elderly gentleman and, apparently, his wife. If you are afraid of dogs, this is not a place for you- you will be greeted by a huge black dog, which is hopefully trained and obedient, but even as a dog lover I would not want to find myself in his presence without the owner nearby. There is a nice but unkept front yard, and a wonderful veiw from the back rooms. You will wake in the middle of the night to the eerie sounds of 2-3 dogs howling, and in the early morning to the chatter and household noises in front of your room door. There is no parking outside, you park on the grass along the road, if there is space. I had no space to park outside, and had to put the car in the 'covered, paying parking', which I was charged for. All in all, an adventure, a different place, but definitely unconventional.

This is not a hotel

This is a guest house in the middle of nowhere run by a man. There are no facilities. Asked if there was anywhere to get a meal but he didn't seem interested. Only one restaurant within reasonable distance and that was shut. At breakfast which was limited the man stood next over our table which was very intimidating. Glad we were only there one night. May be ok if you are Italian.

Dett er et flott lite familiehotell med fantastsik hyggelige og service innstilte drivere! Flott beliggenhet 10 min kjøring fra Pescara sentrum. Litt vanskelig å komme seg ned til sentrum hvis man ikke har bil eller annet fremkomstmiddel, men huseier er svært behjelpelig med å ordne med sykler eller kjøring(mot et lite bidrag til drivstoff) Lite å finne på for små barn - passer best for voksne.

Als je niet van drukke steden houdt, is dit een aangename plek om te verblijven. Mooi gelegen in de heuvels met een prachtig uitzicht. En toch ben je snel bij het station, vliegveld of aan het strand
